Coconut fiber brick made from pressed and dried coconut fiber specially made for composting toilets. Purely organic, non-perishable, can be stored for a very long time, unfertilized and free of stones, etc. In addition, each brick has gone through an anti-parasite program to rule out insect infestation.
The short-fiber coconut fiber is a by-product of obtaining the long-fiber coconut fiber. No habitats are destroyed by clearing trees or removing wetlands (as with peat).
Coconut fiber is fully biodegradable, made from renewable raw materials and contributes to sustainability.
Very high water capacity, about 8-9 times the fiber weight.
Suitable for use as litter in all brands of separating and composting toilets. Place the ToMTuR coconut fiber brick upright in the bag without the foil packaging. Then add about 1 liter of water and let it swell completely. The warmer the water, the faster the coir brick swells and the more volume you get. Adding 1 liter of water to a ToMTuR coconut fiber tile results in approx. 6 - 8 liters of loose toilet substrate. Please note the recommended filling quantity of the respective toilet manufacturer.
The coconut fiber bricks are usually well packed and can be stored easily and for a long time thanks to their angular and compact shape. To be on the safe side, however, we recommend storage locations that are difficult for insects and pests to reach.
